My ignition moudel had melted down under the coil pack but before I found the problem when I would try to start it it would backfire and after I replaced the module it stills backfire when trying to start it does not turn over just backfires wondering did crankshaft timeing get jump off or the sensor is bad did not have this problem until ignition module went bad.

You definitely have spark, so your ignition timing is probably way off. This should be the first thing you check.

If timing is correct, suspect a computer problem. But don't just replace it. Have it tested.

There's also a matter of your valve timing. But since you say the engine ran fine before the ignition went bad, I'd say that's fine.

But there's a reason why your ignition module went bad and that's what you need to find.
