1963 Buick Electra

I have a 63' 225 and whenever I turn the wipers on, I only hear a clicking noise. I replaced the wiper motor and installed the same way as the previous one. The clicking is still there. Previous wiper motor did the same which is why I replaced it thinking it would solve the problem. Recently purchased the car a week ago and wipers hadnt worked them, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

you probably have a bad wiper transmision or where the wiper arm mounts. I forget what they call it. there are clips that mnt the wiper transmission to each other and they could be broken as well. You'll have to pull the vent at the front of the windshield to get to them. there are screws under the hood, take that off and you'll see what is wrong. If everything looks connected turn the wipers on to see the problem. You'll also have to take the wiper arms off.
