Wipers Won't Park

2002 Buick Century After recent ice storm. Turned Vehicle on before de-icing windshield. Wipers were frozen and unable to move. Now the wipers work, but wont park in the proper position. They park pointing vertically, when in the off position. Otherwise they work normally. How do I repair?

What I think happened is that when you turn the wipers on while they were frozen to the windshield, the motor turned the part where the wiper arms mount and threw the parking position off. What you'll have to do is while the wipers are park vertically, remove the arms from where they mount and reposition the horizontally. Hope this helps.
