Wipers

1998 Buick Centry. Wipers were turned on while frozen to windshield. Driver side works fine passenger side raises about four inches then slams back down. Is it the wiper transmission, if so can it be reset or does it need replaced?

Check the wiper linkage. I don't believe wipers can operate independently of each other?

I think it slipped its track almost like when your timing belt slips a few degrees, you should be able to fix that, without replacing it.
