Evaporative emission issues are sometimes something as simple as a loose gas cap. Autozone will scan the car for you and tell you what the "P" code is, and reset it if it is related to some simple issue. Evaporative emissions controls the vapors from the fuel in the tank from evaporating and polluting the air.
