The pulley ring that is around my crankshaft came off. Just the ring that is aroung the harminic balancer(?). Not the entire assembley. There is no slot for a woodruff key on it. Do you know if this is a press fit that I can compress by useing the main bolt or is there another piece that holds this ring in place.

Thanks for your help.

That outer ring is vulcanized to the balancer (center hub) you will need to replace the entire harmonic balancer

Hi If I am following you correctly it is not the pully belts ride on but a ring maybe 3/8/ to 1/2 inch thick that is around a bigger piece that is bolted to crankshaft. If this is correct that ring is part of harmonic balancer it is held on by a rubber insulator to absorb harmonic pitch created by piston detonation. And you will need to replace the balancer.
