hello and thank you. My windshield wipers work fine when they are on. They stop in the middle of my shield when I turn them off, after a complete rotation of wiping and sitting down. They recycle then stop right in my eye-view.
how should I proceed about fixing these? Updating my car is impossible. I am on disability. Again, thank you. Maureen

Under the hood on the firewall is the wiper motor. The cover of the motor is a wiper delay circuit board. When you turn the wipers off, and the blades are parked in the middle of the glass, tap on that circuit board and see if they return. If so, replace delay board. If you disconect the wiper switch and the blades return to park, the switch is bad.
