About 6 months ago I started hearing this "clunk" from the back of my car every time I hit a bump. Well, as time progressed, it started to "clunk" even when I hit smaller bumps. Now, it's to the point it makes this terrible "clunk" just driving on average pavement. I thought it could be the shocks but one day I hit a BIG bump and it didn't come down hard it just made that "clunk"! Does any of this sound familiar? Help.

Sounds like an upper strut mount let go. Also possible of a sway bar link. Hard to say with out hearing it.

Broken spring?
