Electrical problem
1997 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

my 97 buick century will start only when it wants to. I go to turn the key and the car will not start. I put it in a garage and was told it was the ignition switch, that was replaced and one day to the week after getting it out of the garage the car is doing the same exact thing.

Does it crank over and refuses to start or just won't crank over at all-nothing that sounds like a dead battery.

The car will crank over and start 40 to 50% of the time. It acts as if it is the battery, however I recently installed a new battery, starter, crankshaft position sensor and a new main ignition fuse/ relay in the car prior to the ignition switch. I'm wondering what the chances are of one of these new parts not being a good part!
