1997 Buick Century Code

I have had the service engine light come on and went to autozone to check the code and it says insufficient EGR to manifold would this indicate a faulty EGR valve since I cleaned out the pipe to the exhaust which was clear? Also I have noticed the trans seal leaking on the drivers side, I`m not sure I want to put alot of money into this vehicle since my last 82 started nickle dimeing me one problem after another once it started.

Hi:
The EGR valve most likely needs replaced. It may be sticking internally. As far as the trans leak, do you mean the axle seal? To replace it you will need to remove the axle.
