This is my daughter's car. About two months ago she had a gas line leak. I repaired the gas line. (Between the fuel filter and the gas tank.) After it was repaired she stated that the car would run fine and then die. She was able to get it restarted and it would run fine for awhile and then die. This was going on for about a month. A couple of weeks ago she called me and said that the car was parked at a friends house and would not start, about a week later I was able to go over to the friends house and take a look at the car. The battery was dead from her trying to start the car. I towed it to my home and then charged the battery. I attempted to start the car and it started and ran for about ten seconds and died, from that point on it cranks over fine but will not start. I am leaning towards the fuel pump as she has a habit of running the car until it is about out of gas and then putting in a few gallons. If anyone has an idea of where else the problem might be I would appreciate the help. It's a little hard to work on this thing as it is a little cold in upstate NY and I don't have a nice warm garage.

Good place to start check the fuel pressure and comeback with the readings then we'll go to the next phase.
