my '94 buick century runs great at the moment...but exhibits a very strong gas odor if I fill the tank all the way up. S'up???

Hi:
It sounds like either you have a rust problem near the top of the tank, or the filler tube is leaking. The next time you put gas in it, look under it to look for wet spots.
