For the past month er so the car has been making a rattling noise, it's the worst sound ever! My bf's brother says it's a barring in I think he said the drive shaft. Not 100 percent. I really would like to know what the sound is coming from? We are getting a different car tomorrow but I would like to keep the buick, I like the car what an I say? Well any help on this would be great! Thanks in advanced :)

My bf said it's an internal bearing in the crank shaft. Sorry I had that confused how hard is that to get fixed? I need some sort of estimate, I basically wanna know if it's worth it to get fixed. I really like this car

If your talking about a rod or main bearing then total rebuild is needed. That cost is @$3000.00 depending what can be reused and what needs to be replaced. A reman engine maybe cheaper way to go and less for a bone yard engine.
