Had module control under coils checked and it tested good. Is it possible when heated this could act up and cause the car to stall out? I was also told it could be the ignition coil but could only locate the coils on top of the module and I don't think this is the problem because the car doesn't run with a miss it just dies out while in drive. And then won't start until car has completely cooled down. Have you ever heard of these cars having similar problems and if so could you please give me some suggestions on what to do. I don't want to replace the module unless I'm sure this is the problem. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You got it right there.

I know you can't be completely sure, but that's most likely the problem.

It sucks that they are so expensive

I have had quite a few of these that the ECM would heat up and cause the engine to shut down, have you had the computer checked for any trouble codes, if there are no codes stored when this happens, I would suspect the ECM was bad.
