i have changed the water pump the thermostat the belt but it just stared this run for a little while then my temp light comes on then me chk eng light then dies while going down the road the other day it smelled like wires burning my doors lock by themselves only when its hot outside when I try to open the door from the outside to get in my fan does not work every thing happens during the summer not the winter something happens when its hot, the car or when the weather is hot doors engine a/c everything

Hello, check for trouble codes, see if that leads anywhere? If the fan doesn't run at all, take the electrical connector loose, use jumpers and inline fuse off the battery posts, see if the fan will run? If not maybe something wrong with the fan?

On some GM models, if you turn on the ac, the fan runs. If you use a jumper on the A & B terminals of the data link connector to access codes, the fan runs. If you unplug the coolant temp sensor, the fan runs.

If you have some melted circuits, all you can do is try to find them.
