1991 Buick Century 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 115789 miles

when im driving for about 5 min my car will die. I put it neutral and crank it, it normally stars right back up. Then a couple of minuts laters it does the same thing. I have had auto zone check the engine and it came back tps sensor is bad. Ive change the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, new battery everything but the sensor. I would like to know how to change it myself. If anyone knows what to do and how to do I would greatly appreciate it.

The TPS is located on the throttle body and is connected to the throttle shaft. There are 2 Torx screws that hold it in place. Remove these 2 screws and the wiring harness. Install the new TPS making sure that the tang on the lever is properley engaged with the stop on the throttle body. Install wiring harness and everything else you removed to get to it.

Hope this helps you.
