Engine Performance problem
1989 Buick Century 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a problem with stalling, I will drive for awhile and car runs great then i'd say about 15 miles or so the car will stall.I replaced the fuel filter.I put the car in neutraul when the cars trys to stall in idles fine but when I try to drive rather in drive or reverse it will stall it starts up fine every time but stalls when I try to drive it.I will let it set for about an hour or so and it will start right up and drive away.I'm puzzled by this what could be the problem.
