I had to replace a radiator. When I try to put the front strut back in place. You have to pull the front strut forward as far as posible which causes the rubber bushings to come out of place. How can I put the front strut(dog bone)back down without stretching the bushings.

Can you take a picture of the bushing and upload it for me? I can't picture what you are talking about.

When I put the strut brace back on the bushes were out of place. But when I started the car the bushes went back into place. I had'nt tried to start the car before I posted the question. It was also the first time I had taken the strut brace off. When you get ready to bolt the brace down in the front it really distorts the bushes. I didn't know it would snap in place as soon as the car was started.
