ADJUSTABLE PEDAL - ADJUSTMENT INOPERATIVE

This may be caused by a broken gear on the adjuster pedal drive shaft. The gear can be replaced by ordering the Adjustable Pedal Kit and following the instruction sheet included with the kit.

I'm trying to locate the instruction sheet which would have been included with the kit AL2Z-2455-A

The install sheet for AL2Z-2455-A dealers can usually pull the PDF that ships with the service kit when you provide the part number and VIN. (The bulletin itself won’t include the step-by-step; it points to that insert.) Sorry, dealer only on this.

How do you access the broken gear? Is there a special tool?

How do you access the gear within the Adjustable brake pedal? Gear is broken. Is there a special tool to remove this part shown in below photos?

That looks like it is spring loaded, I would be careful. There is not to much info on this problem. Can you see the motor? I think you need to remove the entire pedal assembly to fix this problem.
