If your brake pads need to be replaced (1mm) do you have to also replace the rotor and sensors on this model or is that just a good recommendation?

Mercedes has a technical service bulletin that is recommending replacement of the rotors and pads for excessive rust and corrosion. If there is a visible line where the pads sit on the rotors or if the rotors have excessive rust, corrosion, or grooves, replace them. As far as the sensors, I always replace them because they are cheap and the tabs usually crumble from the heat of the braking system but you can inspect before you replace them.
