Front brakes sticking changed master cylinder still doing it. Calipers still doing it so changed hoses. Still doing it so got a new master cylinder still doing it. Can the booster cause it loosen up after it cools? However, running down the road gets tighter the more it runs and all the parts seem free did not want to go back with a C clamp until opened bleeder. When I checked it would lead me to believe master cylinder but put one used thought to be good then a new one.

Hi Robin,

The booster itself is seldom the cause of such a problem. More likely the booster push-rod and brake pedal is out of adjustment.

Quite often this problem occurs when a substitute is used for the brake pedal switch stopper. If the replacement stopper (I have seen many using a bolt and nut in place of a rubber stopper) is thicker than standard, it would result in the brake pedal being partially depressed if it is not readjusted.

Was the pedal free play checked? If pedal has sufficient play, then you need to check the master cylinder to booster clearance. Try installing a gasket in between to test. You would need to test with different thickness.
