I would highly suggest we find where this fluid is going because you may have a leak. How often do you have to add fluid?

The light coming on is a fluid level sensor but that normally means the fluid is either leaking or the pads are wearing. However, if the pads are wearing causing this to happen then you most likely will only add fluid once before the pads start grinding and require replacement.

Let me know this info and we can figure out next steps. Thanks

Okay. If it is low again and the light is on then you have a leak. We clearly need to find that because if you run out of fluid you will immediately loose brakes. Clearly a safety issue.

So we need to follow the brake lines from the master cylinder and see if there is a leak. If not then we need to remove the wheels and check the calipers/wheel cylinders for leaking. When looking at the brakes you should not find any moisture but if you do then that is brake fluid.

Let me know if you have questions and what you find. Thanks
