Brake pedal going to floor

When pushing down on the brake, the brakes are soft then goes all the way to the floor. Took to dealership and they said I need to replace everyone of my brake lines, that they are rusted (corroded). Which I had a full work up inspection on my car six months ago at another dealership and they never called attention to brake lines corroded or rusted. So the dealership is saying it is going to cost $6,000.00 to replace all the lines. When I checked the brake fluid it was at the half way mark. And the check brake fluid light came on after I drove the car an additional ten miles to drop off. Of course this all happened on a Sunday. So was being safe to just leave car at the dealership since it was close by. I believe this is a total rip off and scam to get as much money as possible?

I wish I could make that much, lol. Honestly, it could be many things, but since you lost fluid on the trip, it may be a bad line. It could also be an issue with the master cylinder. If you noticed any wet spots under the vehicle, check to see if there is a leak. If there is, get a second opinion. For that price, you could replace half the car.
