Brake lights are on car is turned off

Had tires changed Tuesday. Didn’t have size that came on it so went with a larger size on all four. Changed driver side brake on Thursday. Had mode door actuator changed on Friday. Drove car after actuator about ten miles in town. Wrench indicator light came on. Looked in manual says powertrain or AWD fault. Car acting fine, except took on highway and cruise stopped working. Also brake lights stay on even when the car is turned off. If you pull brake pedal towards driver brake lights go off.

Dandy observation with the brake pedal. No adjustment method is specified. I would look for the button on the end of the plunger, (red arrow). If that is missing, the switch is supposed to be replaced. The procedure is rather lengthy and detailed. I posted the instructions if you want to tackle this yourself.
