My brakes work fine, fluid is full, and the light in the dash is on.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

There is a fluid level sensor on the master cylinder. It may have gone bad. I attached a picture of its location for you. If you disconnect the sensor, see if the light goes out. If it doesn't, run a jumper wire between the two connectors and see if it goes out. If it does, replace the sensor.

To remove it, use needle nose pliers in order to compress the locking tabs at the opposite side of the master cylinder. Once they are compressed, it will pull out for you.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe
