boyfriend is working on over head cam v6 4.00 motor ford explorer xlt set timming

he replaced headgasket and there are no timming marks on sprocket or any where as point of reference he got cams a lined 1# and #5 up we asked question yesterday but couldn't remember password this has been a nightmare and he needs to get it done please help

please send info we heed all the help we can get my email is Jennifer.engman@yahoo.com on how to time a ford explorer 2002 no xlt 4.00 v6 with overhead cam I was told we need to get special cam tool and that there are no timming marks we cant afford to purchase some fancy tool to use one time I have tried to find a place like autozone that would rent one but haven't had any luck so any help would be greatly appreciated jenn and roger
