The van body mounts are totally shot. I don't even have a photo of what they should look like. I want to fix it up good or better than new. I cannot find new mounts anywhere. I thought we should jack the van up, remove all the bolts and replace one mount at a time. Any information would be greatly appreciated. The mounts seem about 4 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch with rounded ends. Please Help.

Hello, I'm Danny,

I've attached a picture of what they look like new. These are made by an aftermarket company named Dorman and are available at most auto parts stores. They were asking $180.00 for four units. The easiest way to replace is to do side by side. Example, Loosen driver sides but don't entirely remove. Jack up van on passenger side after completely removing those mounts. Start only hand tight then lower and go to driver side, jack up, and replace that side. Lower down then tighten all. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny: Unfortunately these just won't fit. They are round and the original ones are not. The original ones are 1 3/8 by 2 Â. Sort of rectangular with rounded ends. As shown in the photo I sent the bottom mount fits inside a fitting bolted to the frame.

Hello again.

These are from Dorman as well. Do these look like the ones? I've attached a photo. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

It kind of looks like it might fit but it doesn't. I bought the set from Rock Auto and had to send them back. The four back mounts on my van are 1 3/8 by 2 3/4 inch, sort of a rectangle with rounded ends. The back four mounts fit into a sleeve sort of thing bolted to the frame.

Hello again,

These should be the ones. Look at the end circled in red(picture attached). Rectangular with round ends. If not, have you contacted a local Ford dealer? Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Ford has some of the parts. I had the entire Dorman set here. I bought it from Rock Auto. The one with flat sides (and there was only one) was not the right size. I wound up losing about $100.00 CDN on shipping both ways. The nasty people at Rock Auto said I should have known by the photographs that the mounts were not the ones I needed. The Ford dealer has some of the mounts not all! Also none of the bolts! According to Rock Auto and Dorman their mounts fit Ford E-150 until very recently, if that were true Ford would still have stock. I have joined a couple Ford Groups just today looking for input as to what will work. If you can find out anything I would be grateful. Thanks Mike
