I got a used amp and used a y harness behind my uconnect8.4 to do the add on. Come to find out the amp had a short and now my raider has no power at the connector, but I have power at both of the radio fuses #61 in my power distribution center and my 20a in line fuse by the outer fire wall on driver side. Now I also am getting a body control module trouble code saying there’s either a short or no power to some components in the system.

Hi,

Is it possible to get the diagnostic trouble code you found related to the BCM? That may point me in the right direction.

Let me know.

Joe

Here is how to scan the BCM to get the codes. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Please go over these guides and get back to us.
