Air cond system has 3 fuses. One, the smallest 7.5, has blown twice. What might be the cause of this and what is the next step to take?

#39. Goes to the compressor relay. Relay has continuity on the control circuit. Can't really test to see if switch is closing. Guessing either bad relay or compressor drawing too much power. Fuse blows from 3 blocks to 1/2 mile with air on, then air cond. stops.

You called it right, the only thing on that circuit is the compressor control relay and your guess of the mag clutch or the relay itself being the culprit is quite possible mate. Run some current draw tests and see what the magnetic clutch is pulling.
