The fact that you need to ask is a bit troublesome, but here goes. The correct oil and filter is needed, as is a pan to drain the oil. A 6mm Allen socket, a 27mm socket and a ratchet to turn them. Get under the car, open the access door and unscrew the drain plug, let the oil drain. Unscrew the filter housing and install the new filter. Pour 8 quarts of the correct oil (5w30 synthetic) and you have changed your oil. Anyone that can afford to own an E-71 X5 should probably be having the oil changed for them, I dont even change my wife's cars' oil and filter, its messy and I know my time is worth more than it would take to have it done.
