On left turns ( not always replicated, just 'certain' angles + incline, a bump, bump, bump seems to be coming from left front wheel area- nsounds like something rubbing but not scraping-
tires don't indicate extra wear in inside or out edges. When looking inside wheel well notice area of grease has been rubbed off on vertical rod/post that attaches to wheel axle.-? Thanks for the help-
lady driver
all else seems to be ok.

The issue is most likely the left side half shaft. That's the axle from the wheel to the front differential. It has a torn boot and has leaked the grease out. The outside CV joint can be purchased separately now as they are a high failure item and the installation requires special tools. Do you have a mechanic for your BMW yet?
