Hi we have a x5 3000 manual, it keeps showing a cam shaft sensor fault, and every now and again is lacking in power, and difficult to start, and has started to cut out some times but will restart, we have changed the cam sensor but it stil comes up as a fault? And have now changed the air flow meter as I have had a similar problem on a vauxhall corsa recently, can you shed any light at all
many thanks

You do know there are two camshaft sensors, right? Have you replaced them both, cleared the faults, reset the adaptations and driven for several drive cycles? Also, has the dealer been involved yet. If so, what have they found?
