I don't drive the x5 often. I started it today after sitting for three weeks. It started fine. I drove it briefly then parked. I tried to start it again a few hours later and all I got was a clicking sound. Like the starter was trying to engage but the engine did not turn over. Newer battery with lots of juice. Lights are on and bright, No dimming when trying to start the engine.
Help please.
Thanks

Start with checking the battery connections and check the battery voltage. New batteries fail too, I dont want to have you replacing starters when the problem is somewhere else.
