I have 3 codes that pop up on my scanner 0171,0173,1340
2 of them are fuel trim
the other says misfire malfunction during start up. i do have a small coolant leak that will be repaired on mon. what can cause the fuel trim problem and the misfire malfunction. the car seems to run good,a little harder on gas than usual.thanx

Do you know where the coolant leak is coming from? The higher mileage M-62 motors can have a significant repair expense for certain failures. A PCV plate and intake reseal may be needed to remedy the fuel trim faults, and perhaps replacement of both the pre-cat oxygen sensors, then reset the adaptations and drive to complete readiness monitors.

Pressure testing the cooling system is needed to pinpoint the leak.
