BMW 520i, 1993 K Reg, 1991cc, 145000 miles.

The heated rear window has just stopped working.

There are no obvious breaks or damage to the wires on the window.

The light on the switch still comes on.

Is there a connector that could have been dislodged or a broken fuse that could be causing this?

Thanks,
Kathryn.

The general module controls the rear window heat and there is a fusible link by the battery that power for the rear E-box flows through. I would start by checking for voltage at the connectors to the grid on the rear windows, then, check all the fuses.
There is a fuse box under hood on the drivers side
and there is a fuse box under the rear seat.
The rear seat base pulls up and out from the front edge
