You may have done some damage to the electrical system by jump starting the car. Never jump start an electronically sophisticated car like a BMW. In order to see if the on board computer survived this possible over voltage scenario, remove the radio and release the OBC from it's socket (there is a lever in there, pull it, and the OBC pops out) wait till the count of ten, plug it back in and see if it comes back to life. If in the future, you, or anybody who reads this post, DO NOT JUMP START BMW CARS, AT ANY TIME. If the battery will not start the car, remove it, charge or replace the battery and then start the car, jump starting can cause a great deal of mischief, just don't do it.
