2002 BMW 745 Seat Memory

I am unable to set "memory" on the driver seat. The "M" button is not lighting up once pressed. The car has no "Comfort" Seats. Also the headrests are not moving up or down.
Any suggestions?

The 745 is much too complex for mere mortals to distinguish most issues, those that concern the seat memory are going to require a trip to the dealer or someone that has the correct proprietary software to resolve.
