2002 BMW 745 CD CHANGER

The CD changer is greyed out and will not come on. I can select FM AM radio, but the Tape and CD player are greyed out and it will not come on. There is a DVD player that have been installed in the car so would they have removed the CD player functions for the new DVD thats installed?

Had momentum car co. Check it out and found it had a bad CD changer
