The passenger front door haqs no power to it, the lock is set, so cannot open the door, the window has no paower and the power mirror does not work. Suspect a short or some other dealing with the wiring and relays to the passenger door. I do not have a electrical diagram for the car.
it is a E39 1997 528I

The master switch from the driver's side powers all the doors and windows thru an intergrated module/processor

Sorry took so long to get back, went through all the electrical, no blow fuses, no shorts, saw that another pwerson has a 1999 doing the same as my 97, you suggested removing the door panel. From what I am told by BMW local shop this will require tearing up the panel to access the actuators and unlock the door and troubleshoot the rest of the electronics in the door. Any better idea than tearing up a 500.00 dollar door panel.

If the door is completely dead and the panel might be damaged during discovery, try sourcing a replacement panel from a salvage yard. I am aware of what you are going through and I wish I had a magic bullet, but if the actuator is dead, there really is only one way to go, and that might require a replacement door panel. Try Autobahn salvage @ (619)444-2290, they do only BMW and PORSCHE.

Afterlooking at the messages and looking at mitchell1 I registered there and looked over the wiring diagram. Then went to ebay to find prices on the panels and parts. One thing to note the curtesy light still works. Leading m, e to think its the door module located under the panel. Thought Ford has some piss poor designs. But BMW takes the cake on this one.
The bulb is not bright
