2002 BMW 525i fan belt diagram and traction control lamp

Hi, re are replacing the water pump, and don't have a diagram for the alt/fan belt. Can't get the tensioner compressed. Also, how to diagnose a traction control lamp. Thanks, scott

The site has a link to belt routing diagrams, look to the left side of this screen. The traction control issue will require possible replacement of the ASC/DSC module and subsequent coding of said unit, first of course is scanning the traction control system for faults, then letting me know what those faults are before taking action.
