How do I replace the altenator belt in a 1989 BMW535I?

Replacement of the drive belts (all the belts) requires removal of the fan and loosening of the adjusters. Install the new belts one at a time starting with the A/C belt. Be sure to tension the belts correctly and do not over tighten the water pump belt, it causes the water pump to wear out.
