My BMW is overheating. Radiator has been flushed and I replaced the thermostat. There is no problem with the return. Does the aux fan kick on when the temp goes up, plus she overheats in about 5 minutes.

Hello buddy,

please make sure that coolant is not leaking and once u filled the coolant hope u have done the coolant bleeding also to remove the air.

If the engine heats up when the car is idling, then there is a problem with the fan clutch.

with regards,

the aux fan should come on when the engine gets hot.Have it chemical tested for a blown head-gasket so you dont chase your tail replacing parts
