I have a check engine lite come on and then another lite that is a red circle with 3 dots on each side of it, and I wondered what that light is? ben

The indicator in question is for the brakes. Have the brakes inspected as soon as possible. The check engine light will require a scan tool to diagnose, it could be something as simple as a gas cap that was not tightened or something that may require more involved attention.
