2006 BMW 325 P1449

I have a code p1449 evap check solenoid circuit malfunction. BMW says not a real big problem but wants $950 to fix it. What can I do myself.

The P code is ambiguous as it relates to the issue at hand, what is the problem? Is it replacement of a part?

Thanks for the exploited view. With further investigation it appears I need to replace the dmtl pump. That doest look to bad. And not to expensive for a do it yourself project

And then restting the fault, a generic OBDII reader should do it mate, cheers.
