Dr. Hagerty, Yes the check engine light has been coming on intermittently and I do not notice any degradation in driving performance. Just a very slight rough idle when its cold.

The code you reported does not seem to have relevence for BMW. Often generic OBDII codes do not have meaning and in this case the fault code does not corelate with any reference tables that I am using at this time. If you can have the car scanned with the BMW proprietary software and repost, it might shed light on this issue.
