2003 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 185k miles

if I leave the car off for over 4 hours it runs and turns on fine but if I stop and turn it off the start is very rough and sometimes I have lift the hood up and air it out for 10-15 mins and it will start rough again but no smoke or anything also if I turn on the headlights the idle will bounce only about 200 rpms but its not something that should happen and the tail lights only come on when the head lights are on but when I brake they dont get any darker the top brake light works fine just the left and right tail lights. Should I check spark plugs and IACV? Or do you think its something more.

Inspect the intake boot from the air mass to the throttle body. They fail all the time, cracked at the turn to the ICV.
