It starts with no problem but will not sta running. If I rev the engine to around 2K it keeps running

Inspect the intake boot at the turn for the idle air controller. The bellows are prone to cracking there and at your mileage it may need replacement. 13-54-1-437-191 is the part # and Realoem.com will have an exploded view for you.
