You previously provided the following part #34-51-6-756-289 for the DSC repair kit for my car. Is this a repaiar kit or a whole new part? Where is the dsc control unit located on my car?

It is what BMW calls a repair kit, yes it is the whole module and it is on the DSC unit, just look under the hood for the brake lines and follow them back to the black thing screwed onto the aluminum block with all the brake lines going to it. It will require coding if you buy a new one.
