2001 BMW 325 Transmission Fluid Level

The transmissions are lifetime fill and do not require checking unless there is a leak. If you do check it, it must be on a lift and between 30 and 50 degrees C for the fluid temp. And there is a fill plug that also serves as a level indicator on the right side of the tranny, check it with engine running and A/C on. It also requires special fluid. You might want to let a professional take care of this.
