Hello, I want to buy a 2001 325i for 11000 with 99k mileage. How long until it will need a tune up?

Good question! Regular maintenance is essential to BMW cars. At 99K there is a possible need for inspection II which involves replacement of all fluids and filters, a comprehensive visual inspection of the entire car, and possible replacement of some suspension components. I recommend spending money on a pre-purchase inspection and that it be performed by a BMW knowledgeable technician. Expect to pay for an hour of the technicians time, it may be money well spent!
